Aloha!

Become a Member and help us with our mission to grow and support pickleball in Hawai’i.

As cliche as it may sound, we want to thank all of our many supporters. You were here for us through thick and thin, believing in us every step of the way, and helping us to promote the sport we have all come to love and enjoy. Through countless rolls of blue tape, leaf blowing, and Meetups at Petrie Community Park, Wai’alae Iki Neighborhood Park, Kaimuki Community Park, McCully District Park, Ala Moana Tennis Center, and Mother Waldron Neighborhood Park, you’ve helped to establish and build a community of picklers. Thank you to those who help setup and breakdown the nets. You’re amazing!

We’re entirely grateful for your time, talent and resources. It’s been truly our honor and privilege to work with each and every one of you. We’re humbled that we get the opportunity to do what we do. To our dedicated group of volunteers who are our unsung heroes–we love you and cannot thank you enough! We have hosted many tournaments and activities that were only accomplished by your hard work. You showed up in the wee hours, hauling our equipment from one venue to the next. From the State Capitol, Blaisdell Center, Diamond Head Tennis, and Aloha Stadium, to name a few, you did it all and with great care and detail.

The many hours of instruction we give to juniors and adults of this sport would not be possible without the generosity of our fabulous team, Elaina, Bob, Dean, Chris, Danny, Keven, Margaret, and last but not least, our Kevin! Thank you for bringing your knowledge, creativity, and love of teaching to our picklers. We would be remiss for not including Rudy and Paul for your commitment is unwavering in giving players the tools they need to succeed both on and off the court.

Our Po’aono and Lāpule leagues have continued to attract new and familiar faces, and we have only to thank the many team members, captains and league coordinators Will, Jason, Kyle and Elaina for the fun, camaraderie, and team spirit you bring to the game.

We’re fortunate to live in such a beautiful place as Hawai’i. Nothing beats playing pickleball from mauka to makai. We know what a positive impact pickleball has on our community and what it means to the visitors to our state. As this sport continues to grow, so will the need for building dedicated, standalone pickleball courts, something that has and always have been our priority. We’re grateful to those who share in our vision, and look forward to the day where we have more permanent net courts, enough to hold world-class tournaments. Wouldn’t that be outstanding?!

A sincere thank you to our donors for contributing to our little non-profit. Every bit has helped our mission. Your donations are crucial in helping us achieve our goals, and we are very appreciative of your gifts.

Lastly, thank you to OPA’s current Board and those who were with us from prior years. We owe you a debt of gratitude for getting us this far. There is no “I” in team and you are OPA in the very best way.

Mahalo nui loa everyone for playing a huge role in our wonderful story. We’re only getting started!
